Nesslegg - Schröcken is a sunny balcony on the Hochtannbergpass, situated amidst the traditional Vorarlberg holiday region, and is still one of the most sought-after destinations on the Arlberg. Nesslegg is located directly on the main road Bregenzerwaldstraße (L 200) towards Hochtannbergpass and Warth, west of the center of Schröcken
Today, this small district is characterized mainly by tourism, dominated by winter tourism in conjunction with the adjacent ski areas Lech / Warth / Schröcken.
In summer it is a health resort with a high altitude mountain climate, in winter the snowiest ski resort in Europe with 11 meters of snow per season, 350 km of marked pistes of 97 accessible lifts in the Arlberg region.
This alpine village offers a range of leisure activities and, thanks to its superb location, is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding regions in summer and winter.
Nesslegg has always been a popular haven for nature lovers, hikers and travelers. In winter there is more snow than anywhere else in Europe and yet this plateau is sunlit all year round.
No wonder, it's natural: It is a place that was awarded in 2017 as "the most beautiful place in Austria".
Munich, Zurich and Innsbruck International Airports can be easily reached by car or transfer.
